Dr. Robert A. Herbstman is one of the preeminent plastic surgeons in the field today. Combining experience and peerless knowledge with a craftsman’s touch, he has earned a reputation as a dedicated, trusted professional who cares deeply about achieving superior results for his patients.
Dr. Herbstman is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery . He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rochester, College of Arts and Sciences and received his medical degree in 1982 from the University of Rochester, School of Medicine. Dr. Herbstman completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he was Chief Resident. Following his General Surgery training he completed his Plastic Surgery residency at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School University Hospital.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Herbstman holds a faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Herbstman is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons . He is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons , the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the NJ Society of Plastic Surgeons. Recently, he was certified as a facility inspector for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities .
Dr. Herbstman specializes in artfully performed cosmetic surgery of the face and body. He is listed as one of “America’s Top Cosmetic Surgeons” in the Castle Connolly Guide to Cosmetic Surgeons. In addition, he lectures frequently on cosmetic surgery topics and has appeared on WNBC-TV as well as on local radio and in newspaper articles.
Dr. Murray F. Treiser, MD FACS:
With over two decades of professional experience, Dr. Murray F. Treiser has established himself as a plastic surgeon that is passionate about both his own work and the overall advancement of his profession. His primary goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of his patients while making their plastic surgery experience as pleasant and relaxing as possible.
Dr. Treiser began his education at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Upon graduating in 1979, he remained in Washington, D.C., completing his general surgery residency at Georgetown University Medical Center. Continuing his education, he went to Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey, where he completed his plastic surgery residency. He then went on to complete fellowships in Aesthetic Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York and at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University.
Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr.Treiser is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the New Jersey Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Academy of Medicine of New Jersey, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
